Biography

Norah Wolfe has a Master of Music in Voice and Opera from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Iowa. She has performed in operas with the Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, the Northwestern Opera Theater, and the University of Iowa Opera Theater. She has performed in masterclasses with Russell Thomas, Eric Owens, Lawrence Brownlee, and members of the Lorelei Ensemble. While studying at the University of Iowa, she was selected as a winner of the Concerto/Aria Competition and was honored to sing Mahler’s Kindertotenlieder with the UIowa Chamber Orchestra. In her free time, Norah enjoys composing music and writing poetry. Her piece for solo bassoon, Bluespace, has been performed by Dr. Benjamin Coelho and many of his students and she had poems published in undergraduate-created Mirror Magazine.

  • Departmental phone, mail, and email management
  • Course scheduling and classroom assignments
  • Event planning, setup, and promotion
  • Meeting scheduling, minutes, and agendas
  • Purchasing requests and travel reimbursements
  • Newsletters, course flyers, and student communications
