For those students who have studied Latin and/or Greek and would like to continue studying those languages at the University of Iowa, please take the World Language Placement Test (WLPT).

Test Description and Guidelines

• The University of Iowa Latin and Greek placement tests are a multiple choice test of your knowledge of Latin/Greek grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.
• Complete the test in one sitting.
• There is no time limit, but you should set aside about one hour to take the test.
• You may not use books, notes, or any other printed or online resources.
