Golden Hills RC&D is partnering with the University of Iowa Office of the State Archaeologist (OSA) to host an archaeology lecture and hands-on atlatl spear throwing on May 5, 2023. The presentation will discuss the archaeology of Native American ancestors in the Loess Hills region and Tribes descendent to region who inform and influence Iowa archaeology today.
